The Gite has a washing machine and also a dishwasher – we provide the powder/liquid and tablets for these appliances. We also provide a clothes airer for you to hang clothes on to dry – if needed we can give you access to a clothes drier but most times the weather will be good enough for clothes to dry on the line outside.
We provide all bed-linen and towels for all occupants. We can also provide beach towels on request. If you book a two week stay the gite will be cleaned and provided with fresh bed-linen and towels on the middle Saturday of your stay. The French mains electricity supply runs on 220-240 Volts so if you are bringing appliances from outside Europe you may need to bring your own transformers.
We also have baby equipment for those with infant children – if you need advice on what we have please ask.
Electrical sockets (outlets) in France are one of the two European standard electrical socket types: The “Type C” Europlug and the “Type E” and “Type F” Schuko. If your appliance’s plug doesn’t match the shape of these sockets, you will need a travel plug adapter in order to plug in. Travel plug adapters simply change the shape of your appliance’s plug to match whatever type of socket you need to plug into. If it’s crucial to be able to plug in no matter what, bring an adapter for all three types.
Handy hint – these days families invariably travel with a multitude of devices that all need power – pack a plug board/extension lead so that you can charge multiple devices at the same time.
NOTE: Travel Adapters simply allow your plug to plug into the power socket, they do not act as transformers.
Our Gite is equipped with Wifi – to save you the trouble of having to enter the security key we provide it here so you can copy it and simply paste it in to the relevant section when you connect your device to Wifi.
